As Clark County Washington’s Democratic stronghold, the 49th LD Democrats organize our neighbors to protect our values and build the political power that uplifts our county.
We work to elect leaders who will deliver the shared Democratic values of all the residents of Vancouver, Clark County, and Washington state.
We stand up for democracy, our rights as a community, and believe that every Americans’ right to vote must be protected.
While we are a stronghold for Democracy, we work to expand our base in Clark County by engaging with our neighbors.

About Us
The 49th Legislative District covers most of Vancouver, the fourth largest city in Washington State. Each district is responsible for electing a state senator and two representatives. Our district is also part of Washington’s 3rd Congressional District.
The 49th LD Democrats meet on the second Thursday of each month from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Vancouver on 18th St. Always check the calendar for the most up-to-date information!
Precinct Committee Officers are the backbone of the 49th LD Democrats. They organize their blocks, connect with neighbors, and help elect Democrats up and down the ballot. No experience needed, we’ll help you out! We just ask for a willingness to show up for your community.
Donate to support our work in the 49th LD. Your support means we can train PCOs, spread the word about endorsed candidates, and reinforce the foundations of Democracy here on our streets.
